Conference Information
Increased market volatility and economic uncertainty are affecting every manufacturing organization across the globe. Executives are under constant pressure to deliver high-quality products at the lowest possible cost. They are trying to identify what can be trimmed or eliminated in their operations to protect their profit margin or simply survive in the global marketplace.
But the current economy also offers a unique opportunity for businesses to transform their manufacturing operations into an instrument of strategic competitive advantage. Leading organizations are redoubling their efforts to find new ways to execute with greater efficiency and effectiveness -- to achieve operational excellence without sacrificing the value their customers expect. It can be very challenging for manufacturers to both drive efficiency gains and then translate these gains to bottom line results.
During this on-demand IndustryWeek webcast:
-
Senior research analyst Matthew Littlefield shares what is driving manufacturers to focus on creating more efficient manufacturing operations -- and how best-in-class manufacturers are successful in achieving these efficiency gains.
-
Steve Linton, business systems analyst with E-Z-GO, shares how the company delivers its innovative golf car to the market with high efficiency by integrating a manufacturing execution solution and other software with tested manufacturing processes.
-
You also hear from Carter Johnson, vice president of manufacturing applications strategy with SAP, who shows you how to run efficient manufacturing operations with end-to-end manufacturing solutions designed to reduce total and unit manufacturing costs, consistently meet customer requirements, and ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.
You'll leave the event with specific and actionable recommendations to achieve more efficient manufacturing operations.
