An Internet auction of industrial equipment will be held June 8-14. Manufacturers can sell excess production equipment at the auction or bid on items for sale, according to Norman Levy Associates Inc., an industrial auctioneer/appraisal firm. The auction is expected to offer more than 100 pieces of equipment including fabricating and toolroom equipment and metal forming machines. Bidders can view descriptions, photographs, and some video clips of machinery for sale beginning June 1. After registering, buyers can bid on items and view all other bids placed on those same items. The current highest bidders will be notified by email and will be allowed to raise their bid if a higher bid comes in later. The sale will be held at http://www.nlainc.com. Bidding will close at midnight June 14.
