Kewill E Commerce, provider of business-to-business e-commerce supply chain management solutions, and Catalyst International, a global provider of warehouse management software, have announced that Catalyst will adopt Kewill's new Kewill.Ship Server technology as a standard offering within Catalyst's collaborative supply chain execution (SCE) solutions for integrated e-fulfillment. Kewill.Ship Server allows business-to-business software vendors to incorporate multi-carrier compliance functionality into their own applications. Kewill's technology will give Catalyst clients core functionality for automating multi-carrier compliance, including rating, routing, bar code labeling, and electronic manifesting. "With more and more people using the Internet to shop and with increasing levels of business-to-business e-commerce, the need for seamless, end-to-end fulfillment solutions is greater than ever before," says Sean McGowan, president and CEO of Catalyst. "Kewill.Ship fits well within Catalyst's product suite, operating 'behind the scenes' to allow Catalyst's clients to optimize their parcel shipping. This partnership supports our collaborative SCE solutions and extends the value Catalyst delivers to its customers."
