Lower-Paid Workers Left Out

Employees who make less than $20,000 per year dont benefit much from flexible work schedules or telecommuting options that their employers might offer. Indeed, 45% of the work-family experts from the U.S., Australia, Canada, and Europe who were surveyed by the Conference Board say access to such programs is limited for those lower-wage workers. Thats a sizable amount of workers--as one-third of the U.S. workforce alone earns less than $8 per hour.
