Manufacturing Figures In A Week Of Key U.S. Economic Data

McClenahen Including Sept. 3's report from the Institute for Supply Management on August's U.S. manufacturing activity and Sept. 6's report on August employment from the U.S. Labor Department, there's a virtual flood of major U.S. economic data due out this week. On Sept. 4 of the Labor Day holiday-shortened week, the Commerce Department is slated to release July construction expenditures. And on Aug. 5, the Labor Department is scheduled to publish revised data on second-quarter productivity and labor costs, the Commerce Department is slated to issue its report on July factory orders, the Labor Department is scheduled to release data on initial claims for unemployment insurance for the week ending Aug. 31, and the Institute for Supply Management is scheduled to published a report on August non-manufacturing activity.
