A February seminar is being billed as a chance for participants to share "inside knowledge about how federal programs impact economic development." Hosted by they Council for Urban Economic Development, the "Economic Development Legislative Summit" will be held in Washington, D.C., Feb. 13-15. Issues to be presented include: brownfields, empowerment zones and enterprise communities, new markets programs, and how to increase small-business participation.
