Don't expect the current 11.1 million telecommuters to be happy campers if forced to return to a conventional office setting. A survey by Telecommute America found that nothing short of double their salary could convince telecommuters to return to their previous work style. Telecommuters describe themselves as organized, independent-minded professionals who use the time that they had spent traveling to and from the office to "work more hours."
