Innovation Of The Day: The Wearable Motorcycle

Instead of "innovation of the day," I sometimes feel like I should title this series the "no, I'm really not kidding" series. This design gives new meaning to the term "motorcycle jacket".

I discovered it courtesy of a story in the latest issue of GOOD magazine:

"Part exoskeleton, part motorbike, the three-wheeled vehicle runs on lithium-ion batteries boosted by ultracapacitors (which offer better acceleration). Worn almost as a jacket, machine is steered via "muscles" mechanized by pressured air and activated by the driver's gestures."

It's not exactly a new concept (the design has been around for a few years) but it's definitely interesting enough to warrant a second look.

This would be valid if only colleagues could interact. I have seen many workplaces in large organizations where only management can interact. All infomation must flow through managers. To make it worse the work layout does not support interactions. ... If you want the benefits of co-location you have to have the right management structure and the right physical structure!!!
