Air Products Plans New Korean Plant

Will join existing plant in Ulsan.

Allentown, Pa.-based Air Products & Chemicals Inc. is constructing a new nitrogen trifluoride plant in Ulsan, South Korea, to support Asian semiconductor and liquid crystal display markets.

The plant is to be built at an existing specialty gas site and operated by Air Products Korea Electronics. The plant's first phase, slated to be completed in late 2007, is expected to produce more than 500 metric tons of nitrogen trifluoride annually.
