I love reading IndustryWeek as it’s always got something new to report on. It’s about time a company came up with some new technology for batteries; in general they are weighty and short-lived. At our storage company we use a lot of variously-sized batteries and are always having to change them and carry out maintenance. The magnesium-based batteries sound promising for us consumers with their high energy storage and low costs.

As our needs become more and more complex, we use more and more energy in order to answer these needs and that is why I see a lot of articles on innovation of energy storage. I think one thing to note in this is to make it more available to the public at less expensive prices. But I am sure that this is not a far cry since technology and innovation is just fast and the next moment you will realize that there is a technology that exists and readily available to the public.

This would be valid if only colleagues could interact. I have seen many workplaces in large organizations where only management can interact. All infomation must flow through managers. To make it worse the work layout does not support interactions. ... If you want the benefits of co-location you have to have the right management structure and the right physical structure!!!
