Expansion Management's
Roundtable Conferences continue to be the premier source for education and
networking in the Economic Development Industry. This unique forum allows
attendees to connect directly with leading national site consultants.
Here's what attendees are saying about the roundtable programs:
"We have found the roundtable format to produce the best ROI. We have gotten direct measurable business from meeting the site selectors at the Roundtables."
"Roundtable provided an opportunity to interact with site consultants in a way that allows relationships to be built."
"Overall extremely positive and valuable experience."
"Attending a Roundtable is worth canceling another marketing mission if you don't have the budget to do both."
"The presentations are educational and provide an insight into the minds of consultants and the one-on-one sessions allow you to get to know the person, talk about your community, or region and ask specific questions."
Your registration to a Roundtable Conference includes presentations from the
site consultants and a variety of leisure activities designed to help you build
relationships with the speakers. You will also have the added bonus of
discussing your ED agency's opportunities and challenges with SOME of our
presenters in one-on-one meetings.
Don't wait too long to register for the Roundtable Conferences as seating for

Golf: Spectacular saguaro cacti and desert wildflowers punctuate La Paloma Country Club, situated in Tucson's majestic
Santa Catalina Mountains. The magnificent high desert surrounding and stunning mountain views complement the superb
amenities and service. La Paloma Country Club is a golfer's dream. Exclusive to resort guests and club members, the 27-
hole golf course surrounds the resort. Golf Digest calls it one of the "Top 75 Resort Courses" in the country. La Paloma
Country Club offers a truly memorable experience.
ATV Desert Adventure: One of the most unique and fun ways to see
the Arizona Sonoran Desert is to explore it up close and personal in an ATV.
Guests will depart from the resort's front drive with a tour guide. Led by
professional ATV staff, guests will learn how to drive their own ATV. During
their adventure they will experience a variety of terrains, flora and fauna that
can only be seen by getting off the beaten path. Who knows what desert wildlife might be encountered along the way?
Kartchner Cavern: The caverns are a kaleidoscope of color with 100-foot high ceilings dripping with multi-hued
stalactites and floors jutting up with matching stalagmites. Kartchner is a wet "live" cave meaning water still percolates from
the surface and calcium carbonate features continue to grow in the darkness. The Park includes a Discovery Center, gift
shop, regional displays, and educational information about the caverns and the surrounding landscape. During the transfer
to the park, you'll watch a movie which will give you a sneak preview of what you are about to see and experience. The
Caverns maintain a 72° temperature year round.
The Rotunda / Throne Room Tour: A half-mile, 1&½ hour walking tour, led by a professional guide, where you will
discover the role water has played in the creation of the cavern. You will see some of the tiniest, most delicate formations
found in the cave, as well as the largest column in Arizona. This tour includes an up-close look at the variety of formations
and colors that makes this cave one of the top ten in the world.
Sabino Canyon: Sabino Canyon is not only a nature photographer's dream it is also steeped in history. Twelve
thousand years ago, Columbian Mammoth roamed here. About 1200 A.D., irrigation dams were placed in the
creek by Hohokam Indians. Our tour guides will accompany you to Sabino Canyon where you will board an openair,
outdoor motorized tram for a 45 minute narrated tour that gets you up close and personal to this desert oasis.
Along the 3.8 mile trail the tram makes nine stops for visitors to take in the panoramic views -- cameras are a must.
Following your tram adventure you will be treated to a botanical walk where you'll learn about desert flora and fauna.
Hiking Tour in the Fingerock Trail Head: The Tucson hiking tour is designed to bring you an enjoyable, informative,
and invigorating wilderness experience. Through movement breathing, hiking expands your physical, emotional and spiritual
selves. The guides will tell you all about the plants and animals of the unique region. They will also give you a sense of
the rich heritage of the Native Americans and Pioneers who made the Sonoran Desert their home. Hikes conducted on
Coronado National Forest property. The guides take great pride and care in sharing the canyons and mountains surrounding
their desert home. We invite you to take some time to enjoy the unique desert environment.
