One can hardly talk about innovation without discussing Stan Johnson from Brookfield Wisconsin. Stan started racing when he was 14. Shortly after he graduated from IIT in Chicago he built an innovative and unique dragster that set track records and won awards for design and innovation. The car was called "The Silver Bullet'. Stan sold the car to finance his Industrial Design business. The new owner lost the car in a highway accident. Forty-five years later someone opened a trailer and found remnants of the Silver Bullet. The innovate and unique design was a dead giveaway. They contacted Stand, he bought the remains and in buying another trailer he found the other half of the car. He reassembled it to identical spec (even all the hand made parts and special paint) in time for the cars' 50th Birthday. Talk to Stan Johnson and you are talking to Mr. Innovation.
