Market Watch For June 2008: Material Demand

Steel, aluminum and titanium dioxide register higher prices, while copper dips in June.

More commodities registered higher prices for the first time in several months in June, according to the 2008 ISM Manufacturing Report on Business (ROB) released on July 1. Some notables included plastics, electricity and titanium dioxide. Both natural gas and sulfuric acid continue upward streaks that have remained intact for all of 2008, while steel and aluminum are each following close behind.
