Lead MES Consultant, PLM/MES Practice
Chris Chapin is the Lead MES Consultant in HP's PLM / MES Practice, and is responsible for developing manufacturing IT solution offerings from concept through delivery, and bringing these solutions to manufacturing clients in a way that helps them realize true business value to their manufacturing operations. These responsibilities include building deep, collaborative relationships with strategic vendor partners.
Chapin has 27 years with HP in a variety of leadership and consulting roles serving engineering and manufacturing clients. He is responsible for consulting with manufacturing clients, devising innovative yet practical information technology solutions that provide tangle business benefits, and driving these solutions to an implemented reality.
He has worked with major Original Equipment Manufacturers and Tier 1 Suppliers across multiple industries, including automotive, aerospace and defense, consumer goods, industrial, heavy equipment, and high tech. Chapin is well versed in the areas of production, materials management and logistics, and quality.
He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Central Michigan University.
