New York-based Saatchi & Saatchi is accepting entries for its Innovation in Communication Award. The global competition recognizes and rewards inventors whose creations have the potential to revolutionize communications among individuals, groups, businesses, and other organizations. The award is designed to give world-changing innovations the visibility and marketing support needed to break through into mainstream and widespread use. The competition is open to innovators who work in a wide range of disciplines, including but not limited to science and technology, the arts, mass communication, and education. The inventor must provide a proof of patent, copyright or design registration, or pending status thereof for the entry. "We're asking our judges to choose the one idea that has the potential to provide the greatest communication benefit to the greatest number of people, or to a group of people with a particular need," says Bob Isherwood, worldwide creative director of Saatchi & Saatchi.
