Compiled ByDeborah Austin Candymaker Godiva Europe has licensed supply-chain components of SCT Corp.'s iProcess.sct e-business solution for its premium chocolates division. Godiva requires a supply-chain tool that supports a generation of global forecast figures and drives a more dynamic production plan for its Belgian confections operations, says Koen Goossens supply-chain manager. "Advanced planning and demand planning combine to provide collaborative forecasts that translate into an optimized production plan, taking into account Godiva's complex environment with floating bottlenecks." SCT's solution offers a deep functional fit for Godiva, says Godiva IT Manager Peter Stevens. Manhattan, N.Y.-based Godiva Chocolatier Inc is part of the $1.5 billion Biscuits and Confectionary Division of $6.3 billion Campbell Soup Co. SCT, headquartered in Malvern, Pa., provides e-business solutions for education, energy/utilities/communications, process manufacturing/distribution, and justice/government.
