Sept. 14, 2009
Hytrol Conveyor Co. (Hytrol), a Jonesboro, Ark.-based manufacturer of conveyors and conveying systems, has selected IFS Applications to help streamline its business practices, reduce cycle times and expand customer relations.

The following are five key guidelines to consider in planning and implementing a robust and reliable Ethernet infrastructure to support the industrial network. The system will be implemented at Hytrol's factory and technology center, both located in Jonesboro, Ark.

Hytrol chose IFS Applications to replace its 20-year-old software system, and will implement components for financials, supply chain, engineering, manufacturing, sales and marketing, service and maintenance, project management, document management, quality management, human resources and business analytics, according to IFS, which has its North American headquarters in Chicago.

"We were looking for an enterprise software package that would enable us to better manage both complex ETO and CTO projects, and after evaluating several leading vendors, we found that IFS offers the strongest solution on the market," Hytrol Director of IT Steve Bell said.

Industrial manufacturing is one of IFS' seven targeted market segments.
