SupplyWorks Inc. and i-MARK Inc. have announced a strategic alliance to pair SupplyWorks' production e-procurement solutions with i-MARK's content management tools. The resulting buy-side/sell-side solution aims to enable the delivery of rich, technical content within manufacturers' SupplyWorks MAX-based e-procurement systems so buyers can better review, research, configure, test, and compare products. As part of the agreement, i-MARK has joined the SupplyWorks CounterPart alliance program as a Complementary Product Partner. And, the two firms will conduct a variety of joint sales and marketing activities -- including lead sharing, account targeting, and sales development. SupplyWorks -- headquartered in Bedford, Mass. -- provides business-to-business supply chain e-procurement solutions. i-MARK, headquartered in Hartford, Conn., provides e-business solutions for suppliers and distributors of durable goods and services.
