Obtain state-government contract and purchasing-trend information for 27 state agencies through member links at the National Institute of Governmental Purchasing's (NIGP) web site. Also useful is Bidnet, a subscription service for vendors that want to sell products to national or regional governments. More than 4,000 state and local agencies provide bid information to Bidnet, which also scans every State Contract Reporter and more than 100 newspapers across the U.S. for bid announcements from state governments.
