Renault/Nissan CEO Carlos Ghosn will meet his counterpart at General Motors, Rick Wagoner, this week, a Nissan spokeswoman said Sept. 25 as talks on a possible three-way alliance continue.

The pair are due to hook up on the sidelines of the Paris Motor Show as part of regular meetings between industry bosses, she said.

The three companies in July embarked on a 90-day review of the potential benefits of expanding the Renault-Nissan alliance to include the world's largest but struggling automaker.

Renault owns 44.4% of Nissan, which in turn owns 15% of its French partner.
