Three economic reports this week warrant close attention. On Tuesday, October 25, the Conference Board, a New York-based business research group, reports on October U.S. consumer confidence. On Thursday, the 27th, the U.S. Commerce Department releases data on September durable goods orders. And on Friday, the 28th, the Commerce Department publishes its first look at GDP growth for the July-through-September quarter of 2005.
