Brillion Iron Works was looking for methods to keep its dealers equipped with up-to-date parts and pricing information. The Brillion, Wisc.-based manufacturer chose PartSmart from ARI Network Services Inc. to meet that need. ARI's PartSmart electronic parts catalog software is designed to help connect manufacturers with their service and distribution networks. Brillion Iron Works' approximately 600 stocking and 200 parts dealers will be able to use ARI's PartSmart catalog to view illustrated parts catalogs and get current parts and pricing information. Brillion's first PartSmart catalog is expected to be introduced in February, according to ARI. "Brillion Iron Works' goal has always been to provide our dealers with the tools they need to succeed," says Michael Irish, Brillion Iron Works' general manager. "This is especially important in today's economy." Among the features of PartSmart:
- Users can customize the display of data.
- Catalog information is searchable by part number, model number, description and year.
- Scheduled catalog updates keep information current.
