ClearOrbit Enhances Replenishment Suite

Software provider ClearOrbit Inc. says its Purchase Order Change Management module automates the communication of order changes suggested by a manufacturer's material requirements planning (MRP) system. A component of the Austin, Texas-based firm's Advanced Collaborative Replenishment Suite, the purchase order module allows buyers and sellers to simultaneously change or manage purchase orders and MRP suggestions. It also bars shipments with mismatched data records. ClearOrbit says suppliers can access the system via standard Web browsers, by uploading or downloading spreadsheets, or via an XML interface. Other components of the Advanced Collaborative Replenishment Suite include ClearOrbit's VMI Schedule Collaborator, Drop Ship Manager and Sales Order Collaborator.
