With WhoAmI.com, a no-cost service provided by Solid Oak Software Inc., Santa Barbara, Calif., any Internet user can publish a personal profile, which is available to all Internet users.
At sign-up, users will immediately be issued a personal WhoAmI.com ID that functions as a URL address. Users then create a personal profile via a form provided online.
The system is initiated by adding a link to your Web site and email signature files using your personal WhoAmI.com ID. The service, available on the Web site www.whoami.com, is free and private, according to Solid Oak.
