Control Products Company Makes Online Move

Sunnyvale, Calif.-based Valin Corp., a 25-year-old supplier of fluid handling, measurement, and control products, has launched ValinOnline.com, an online catalog and transaction marketplace for customers. The site has 12 major product families, which are divided into 87 product subcategories, and is launching with 6,000 items. The catalog is integrated into Valin's enterprise system, allowing users to view their own pricing, quantity discounts, and in-stock availability. Users can place an immediate order by credit card or apply for an open account with a credit line. Valin, a privately held company, services various manufacturing sectors.
