Compiled ByJonathan Katz Scottsdale, Ariz.-based Cyclone Commerce Inc., an eCommerce company offering business to business (B2B) infrastructure solutions, has established its first international operation located in Tokyo. Cyclone appointed former management consultant and investment banker Yoshi Murasawa to head the Japan operation. Murasawa was previously the managing director of the Japan office of the Monitor Co., a Cambridge, Mass.-based strategic management consulting firm. Japan's B2B eMarket is forecast to grow from US$11.1 billion in 1999 to US$858.6 billion in 2004, according to the Gartner Group's eBusiness Intelligence Services. By 2004 Gartner expects Japan to account for 11.8% of the world's B2B eCommerce market.
