Compiled ByJill Jusko ePlus Inc., a Herndon, Va.-based provider of software solutions, says it has enhanced its ePlus Enterprise Cost Management (eECM) with the addition of software components that include spend management analytics and e-sourcing capabilities. The components add to the ability of eECM, an integrated suite of solutions, to help enterprises manage and analyze their full life-cycle of costs, the company says. ePlus says other new features in the latest release, which will be widely available later this year, include spend management tools to help public companies comply with many of the requirements of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002. Those include tracking procurement history and current and future purchasing commitments (spend analysis, category management and contract compliance). In other ePlus news, the company has formed the Spend Management Customer Advisory Council. The goal of the organization is to collect input on the development of new business applications and discuss approaches to tackling effective spend management.
