Compiled ByTravis Hessman The Florida Manufacturing Technology Center (FMTC) in Orlando has launched the FMTC Institute, an educational outreach arm designed to help meet manufacturing professionals' training needs. Through a series of workshops and seminars, the Institute will offer development programs to plant managers, technical staff, CEOs, and others in other key leadership positions. Program topics include lean manufacturing, ISO 9000, and e-business strategy. "We believe FMTC Institute is a more effective way to leverage our knowledge and expertise for the benefit of Florida's manufacturing industry," says Ted Fluchradt, FMTC CEO.
