French-Based Industries Accessible Via E-Hub

A new e-marketplace soon could join 30 French-speaking nations and nearly 30 French-based industries. The hub -- scheduled for launch this month -- will provide a gateway for firms to conduct business with small- and medium-sized businesses in French-speaking nations, using the Universal Business Exchange, a platform of Washington, D.C.-based Unibex, a creator of online business communities. To create and sponsor the e-marketplace, Unibex is partnering with The Centre International D'Opportunities D'Affaires, a France-based organization that gathers specialized service providers to assist small/medium enterprises. The new portal will include trading hubs for machinery, hardware, woodwork, software applications, and other industries. Member firms will be able to buy and sell across French-speaking countries and industries, and conduct business with U.S.-based firms already using the Unibex platform.
