Internet Execs In Demand

Demand is exploding for executives with Internet skills, says executive recruiter Christian & Timbers. Demand is up anywhere from 108% to 158% for e-commerce chief financial officers, Internet chief financial officers, chief technology officers, and e-commerce vice presidents; and it's up between 60% and 82% for Y2K consultants, online community vice presidents, and CEOs for network integration services companies. By contrast, demand has slipped by more than 50% for vice presidents of both retail operations and government sales, oil industry executives and presidents or CEOs of managed care operations.
