The Investment Recovery Assn., Mission, Kan., will hold its semi-annual conference and trade show on Apr. 17-19. The event will be held at the Westin Savannah Harbor Resort. The conference's theme will be "Brave New IR World" and will feature a keynote address by Frank Navran of the Ethics Resource Center. His topic, "Why Ethics? Why Now?" will address why organizations are paying more attention to ethics and what it means to attendees. A trade show featuring representatives from the used equipment/machinery field, brokerage, demolition, online auction, scrap metals, auctioneering, and data systems fields will complement the conference. The show will allow association members to identify resources for selling, disposing, or preparing for reuse of assets that have become idle within their companies.
