Ironside Solution Automates Order Management

The solution electronically connects directly to customers' purchasing systems, thereby eliminating the need for duplicate data entry, reducing order management costs and improving order accuracy, says the Pleasanton, Calif., firm. Ironside's Order File Connector accepts purchase orders from customers' purchasing systems using a comma separated value (CSV) format and then translates the data into XML. It then submits the order to the manufacturer's or distributor's enterprise-resource-planning system. An administration utility allows the software solution to create an unlimited number of CSV file mappings to accommodate different buyers' purchasing systems. Ironside also offers enterprise-to-enterprise connectors for e-procurement systems and electronic marketplaces.
