July Seminar Addresses Warehouse Space Utilization

The Warehousing Education and Research Council will conduct a seminar titled "Maximizing Warehouse Space" in Denver. The dates for the event are July 19-20. During day one of the two-day event attendees will examine the elements for space planning, while on day two they will work with a group to redesign a fictional distribution center using the knowledge they gained from the previous day. The seminar will provide tips for analyzing your current operation; methods to evaluate storage types, equipment and workflow; the most common warehouse layout and design mistakes; and factors to consider when redesigning a facility.
