A.T. Kearney, Austin-Tetra Partner To Provide Supplier Services

A.T. Kearney Procurement Solutions, a unit of management consulting firm A.T. Kearney, has teamed with technology provider Austin-Tetra Inc. to provide supplier content and enterprise spend diagnostic services. The firms' long-term contract gives A.T. Kearney clients access to robust intelligence on global suppliers. Available business intelligence includes business demographics, corporate ownership, product and service categorization, socioeconomic information, and business risk analysis. Clients also receive spend analysis and supplier insight as part of the sourcing services. In other A.T. Kearney news, the procurement solutions unit recently formalized an agreement with UGS Corp., a provider of product lifecycle management software, for sourcing and procurement services, content and technology. Under the terms of the contract, UGS will continue the development of eBreviate sourcing technology, with A.T. Kearney Procurement Solutions providing the design direction, ASP operations, sourcing services and category-specific sourcing solutions and content. UGS also formalized a joint development and marketing agreement with A.T. Kearney for UGS' Teamcenter Sourcing suite.
