Learn About Lean Supply Chains In April

Which manufacturers have seemingly mastered the art of managing their supply chains? Names that come to mind likely include Dell Inc. and Toyota Motor Corp. Manufacturers who are interested in learning about supply-chain management from organizations such as these may want to consider attending "How Do Leading Companies Manage Their Supply Chain?" The Association for Manufacturing Excellence will present this seminar April 6-8 in Austin, Texas. Executives from Dell, Toyota, Lockheed Martin and Solectron are among those scheduled to speak. Several plant tours also are part of the schedule. Registration fees for the event are $795 for AME members and $920 for non-members. The non-member fee includes a one-year AME membership. AME, based in Wheeling, Ill., is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to helping its members improve performance. For more information about this event, visit the AME Web site at www.ame.org
