Employees interested in curtailing the amount of lumber used from old growth forests might encourage their employers to join the more than 20 companies that have pledged to curtail use of products made from wood logged from The Great Bear Rainforest in the Canadian province of British Columbia. Among the companies that signed the agreement with the Coastal Rainforest Coalition: Hallmark Cards Inc., Kinko's Inc., 3M Corp., Dell Computer Corp., Levi Strauss & Co., IBM Corp., Estee Lauder Cos., Johnson & Johnson, McGraw Hill Corp., and Nike Inc.
