Cedar Point amusement park in Sandusky, Ohio, has donated $100,000 to charities since 1988, collected from coins visitors have thrown into the park's fountains. It also has donated recycled aluminum cans to the Burned Children's Program of Northwest Ohio at the St. Vincent Medical Center in Toledo. Some weeks the park collects more than a ton of aluminum cans worth $1,300.
