Menlo Worldwide Logistics has opened a multi-user logistics facility in Seoul, South Korea, at the city's Gimpo Airport cargo complex. The single-level facility, which measures nearly 29,000 square feet, is equipped with Menlo's Supplier Inventory Management System, a warehouse management tool that gives customers online Web visibility and electronic file interfaces for data exchange. The site also is linked to Menlo Worldwide Logistics' global data communications network. The licensed and bonded warehouse is located within an existing customs region and the Seoul metro distribution center. The building is being leased from Korean Airport Corp. Menlo Worldwide began operations in Korea in 1984 as Emery Worldwide Korea. Its first logistics center was established in 2000 in a Seoul suburb. Menlo Worldwide Logistics is a full-service contract logistics company based in Redwood City, Calif.
