Compiled ByDeborah Austin Supply-chain management company Menlo Worldwide, Redwood City, Calif., has launched a new Web site linking the sites of its business units -- giving clients single-portal access. Menlo Worldwide was formed in December 2001 from several predecessor companies, and others were added. But each still had its own Web site, says Jamie Fenimore, public relations manager. The new site gives access to business services offered by each of the companies -- Emery Forwarding, Menlo Worldwide Expedite!, Menlo Worldwide Logistics, Menlo Worldwide Technologies, Menlo Worldwide Trade Services and Vector SCM. For example, says Fenimore, an Emery Forwarding customer can now go directly to Menlo Worldwide Expedite! to sign up for an account. Menlo Worldwide is a business segment of supply-chain services, trucking and trailer manufacturing company CNF.
