NetSuite Integrates UPS Online Shipping

NetSuite Inc. has embedded UPS Shipping Tools in its midmarket enterprise solution, an addition it says will eliminate the need to manually exchange data between separate order management, package tracking, shipping and customer service systems. UPS Online Tools are another new addition to NetSuite 9.0. The San Mateo, Calif.-based company said its latest application update allows UPS shipping in batch process and prints regular or sticky shipping labels. The solution can create shipping labels and generate tracking numbers from front- and back-end operations, in addition to inputting the order and billing the invoice. NetSuite piloted the enhancement with more than 100 customers. Formerly named NetLedger, NetSuite provides enterprise-resource-planning and customer relationship management software to small and midsized businesses.
