Compiled By Travis Hessman The National Labor Management Assn. (NLMA) has launched a professional certification program aimed at bringing the labor-management cooperative process and high-performance workplace concept to a wider audience. According to the NLMA, a non-profit membership organization that promotes cooperation between labor and management, the program will provide the information and skills necessary "to transform operations . . . to productive environments with . . . positive labor relations." Paul Fardink, NLMA vice president, says the certification program will deliver the standardized training being sought in the workplace. The course is available via CD with Internet backup, hard-copy volumes, or through onsite programs. For more information, visit www.nlma.org or call 800-967-2687. The NLMA is located in Jamestown, N.Y.
