New Solution To E-Connect Suppliers

Compiled ByDeborah Austin Cap Gemini Ernst & Young has launched Quick Connect for Suppliers -- a packaged solution it says can help suppliers overcome challenges of enabling digital channels, seamlessly linking to e-procurement systems, digital marketplaces or buyers' custom applications. Cap Gemini Ernst & Young provides buyers and suppliers business-to-business technology configuration and services to integrate the solution into existing architectures. Quick Connect for Suppliers is based on the Microsoft Solution for Supplier Enablement, which allows suppliers to sell through multiple online channels while remaining differentiated. The current Quick Connect for Suppliers offering targets the chemicals industry. Solutions for manufacturing and high-tech are scheduled for early-December release, with future offerings planned for consumer products and other industries.
