Office Space Offers Telecommuting Option

Financial services company Merrill Lynch, which has more than 500 telecommuters, will soon be launching yet another alternative work arrangement program aimed at providing its workers more flexibility. Assistant vice president Eileen Keyes says the New York City-based company is establishing a telecommuting office in Somerset, N.J., with enough space for 90 telecommuting workers -- an alternative to working from home or traveling to a corporate office.
