Compiled ByJill Jusko MfgJobs.com, an online recruiting and placement network specifically for the manufacturing sector, says it will provide its services free to employers and recruiters through the end of this year. The service has always been offered at no cost to job seekers. "In light of the economic downturn, we wanted to give our full support to the manufacturing sector," explains Mitch Free, president and CEO of ManufacturingQuote Inc., the Atlanta-based parent of MfgJobs.com. "By eliminating fees on MfgJobs.com until 2003, we are hoping to encourage recruiters and employers who are in the process of retooling their organizations to take a look at the wealth of qualified job seeks registered on our site." The greatest concentration of job seekers in the job center is among the engineering, skilled trades and operations-management disciplines.
