Compiled ByDave Schafer E-business software-provider Oracle Corp. has released SupplyChain.Oracle.com, a collaborative supply-chain solution delivered as an online service, eliminating the need for companies to make additional investment in IT infrastructure or the labor required to support it. The Redwood Shores, Calif.-based company says SupplyChain.Oracle.com helps remove barriers to supply-chain collaboration and will enable companies to collaborate with trading partners in as little as 20 days. Based on Oracle's Supply Chain Exchange, the new solution can provide the ability to see, control, and collaborate on demand and supply across an extended, multi-enterprise supply chain. This helps deliver reduced inventory, better forecast accuracy, better demand and supply matching, and improved delivery performance, Oracle says.
