Compiled ByTim Stevens UPS e-Logistics, a subsidiary of United Parcel Services Inc., has partnered with other technology vendors to provide small and medium-sized businesses with a fully integrated back-end supply-chain solution. Leveraging services and applications from EXE Technologies Inc., PricewaterhouseCoopers, and Oracle Corp., the offering includes warehousing and inventory management, order fulfillment (pick, pack, and ship), inbound and outbound transportation, returns management, customer call center, and management reporting. The standardized, pre-built services can be bundled and configured, and are scalable for future growth. "If a company has a product and a Web site, we'll do the rest," says Harvey Rickles, UPS e-logistics general manager.
