PwC, BMC Software Team To Deliver Security Management Solutions

The alliance will combine PricewaterhouseCoopers' industry and security expertise with BMC Software's technology. The goal is to provide strong security, access control, permissions and workflow to an organization's e-business efforts. PricewaterhouseCoopers' Identity Management strategy, as the solution is known, uses BMC's CONTROL-SA security management solution. CONTROL-SA will provide centralized control for administration of access rights to multiple platforms; help organizations tighten security by controlling access rights to enterprise resources; accelerate changes to business strategies; and reduce operating costs. "Today's companies are operating extended enterprises where many different clients, partners and suppliers are gaining access to internal networks that contain sensitive information," says Jeff Hawn, senior vice president of BMC Software, Houston. "BMC Software's solutions protect the confidentiality of the data and manage the access and workflow efficiencies of every end user.
