Safety Expo Features Tom Peters, Stuart Varney

The National Safety Council, Itasca, Ill., will hold its 87th Annual Congress and Expo on Oct. 15- 22. The event will be held at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center in New Orleans. Three full days of educational sessions will be offered. Keynote speeches will be given by management expert Tom Peters, and global economist and CNN founding member Stuart Varney. The occupational keynote address will be given by Charles Jeffress, assistant secretary of OSHA. Some of the 130 educational sessions will address highway and traffic safety, food safety, ergonomics, leadership development, safety through design, controlling conflict and confrontation, and behavior-based safety.
