The program, jointly developed by the Institute for Supply Management, Tempe, Ariz., and APICs, The Educational Society for Resource Management, Alexandria, Va., is designed for people preparing to direct or participate in the integration of purchasing, planning, production, inventory control, finance or other aspects of the supply chain. According to ISM, the course will provide alternatives for accomplishing materials management functions, discuss effective cross-boundary goal alignment and measurements, and address cooperative team development.
