Summit Features Career Building, Other Seminars For Women

Linkage Inc., Lexington, Mass., will hold its Women in Leadership summit on Feb. 7-9, 2000. The event will be held at the Grand Hyatt in San Francisco. Keynote speakers will include: Gloria Steinem, a writer and consulting editor for Ms. magazine; Benazir Bhutto, former prime minister of Pakistan; Julie Foudy, co-captain of the U.S. women's soccer team that won the gold medal in the 1996 Olympic Games; and Mae Jemison, an astronaut who flew on the Space Shuttle Endeavor. In addition to the keynote presentations, the summit will include interactive workshops and multiple networking opportunities. Among theworkshops scheduled: "Building your leadership skills," "Creating astrategic vision," "Succeeding as a global leader," "Leading organizational change," and "Learn to break down the glass walls in your organization."
